Anxiety Therapy

Anxiety can feel like being constantly on edge—your mind racing, your body tense, and your thoughts scattered or hard to keep track of. You may feel the burden of perfectionism, that everything has to be ‘just right’. You might find yourself easily overwhelmed, forgetful, or exhausted from always feeling “on,” even when nothing obvious is wrong. It can be hard to relax, focus, or feel fully present in your own life.

In our work together, we’ll make sense of how anxiety is showing up in your mind and body, and explore the patterns that may be contributing to it with curiosity. We’ll develop practical tools and strategies to help you feel more steady, clear, and at ease in your daily life. Over time, this process can support you in responding to challenges with greater confidence, resilience, and self-understanding.

Christian Therapy

For those interested in exploring their faith as part of the therapeutic process, I offer Christian-focused therapy.

In this space, we can explore how your faith and spiritual beliefs impact your life and how they can be a source of strength and guidance. This could include using prayer, scripture, and times of listening to God to increase awareness of His presence.

Whether you’re seeking to understand the role of faith in overcoming challenges or simply want to integrate your spiritual values into your healing journey, I am here to support you in a way that aligns with your beliefs.

“God is never slow, but He often seems slow to the sufferer.”

-G. Campbell Morgan

Teen Therapy

I work collaboratively with teens and their parents to support connection and align with the family’s goals. With teens, I prioritize their voice and choice, creating a space where they feel respected and understood, often incorporating art, games, and interactive activities to help them express themselves in natural and engaging ways. I also partner closely with parents to better understand and support their teen’s unique needs, while strengthening the overall family dynamic. Together, we create a safe, respectful environment where everyone feels heard and can engage in open, sometimes challenging conversations, while working toward practical goals that foster healthier communication and connection.

Grief Therapy

Grief is one of the most painful, complicated, and often under-explored experiences we go through as humans.

Whether you’re grieving the loss of a loved one, a relationship, a life transition, or something harder to name, you don’t have to navigate it alone. In our work together, I create a space where your grief is welcome in all its forms—messy, confusing, heavy, or even numb. We’ll move at your pace as we gently explore the meaning of your loss, understand how the body and mind process shock and deep emotional pain, and find ways to support your nervous system as you move through it.

Rather than trying to “fix” or rush grief, our work will focus on honoring your experience, making space for your emotions, and helping you reconnect with yourself and the parts of life that still hold meaning.

Frequently Asked Questions

  • I am currently in the process of being credentialed with Aetna, Cigna, and Carelon.

Your health insurance may reimburse you for a portion of your session fees. Many PPO plans reimburse between 50–80% of the session cost. I’m happy to provide you with a superbill that you can submit to your insurance for reimbursement.

Unfortunately, HMO, Medi-Cal, and Medicare plans typically do not offer reimbursement for out-of-network providers, as they require you to see someone within their network.

  • Yes, I offer a limited number of reduced-fee spots. Please feel free to reach out to discuss availability and whether we might be a good fit.

  • Not at this time. However, I am currently building a client base interested in in-person sessions in Santa Monica, with plans to transition to offering in-person availability part-time in the future.

  • Paying out of pocket can offer greater flexibility, privacy, and independence, while keeping insurance separate from your therapeutic work. Insurance companies often require a diagnosis, have access to aspects of your health record, and may request information about your care. Working out of network allows me to collaborate directly with you, creating more space for flexibility and maintaining a higher level of confidentiality throughout our work.

  • Because my practice is fully virtual, I am currently accepting card payments only. Before our first session, you will be sent a secure credit card form to enter your information. Your card will be charged at the end of the day of your session. You can update or change your card information at any time.

Good Faith Estimate Notice

You have the right to receive a “Good Faith Estimate” explaining how much your medical and mental health care will cost.

Under the law, health care providers need to give patients who don’t have insurance or who are not using insurance an estimate of the expected charges for medical services, including psychotherapy services.

You have the right to receive a Good Faith Estimate for the total expected cost of any non-emergency healthcare services, including psychotherapy services.

You can ask your health care provider, and any other provider you choose, for a Good Faith Estimate before you schedule a service.

If you receive a bill that is at least $400 more than your Good Faith Estimate, you can dispute the bill. Make sure to save a copy or picture of your Good Faith Estimate.

For questions or more information about your right to a Good Faith Estimate, visit www.cms.gov/nosurprises.
